Production Supervisor (Fulltime)

Job Summary:
ZenG Solutions, a leading PCB manufacturing company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The Production Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our production floor, ensuring the efficient and high-quality manufacturing of printed circuit boards (PCBs). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PCB assembly, a keen eye for detail, and excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervision and Leadership:

    • Lead and motivate a team of production technicians to achieve daily production targets.

    • Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure team members perform at their best.

    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

  2. Production Planning and Scheduling:

    • Collaborate with the production planning team to create daily and weekly production schedules.

    • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet customer demands and deadlines.

    • Ensure efficient utilization of resources and equipment.

  3. Quality Control:

    • Implement and enforce quality control processes to guarantee the production of high-quality PCBs.

  4. Process Optimization:

    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency.

    • Work closely with the engineering team to implement new manufacturing processes and technologies.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.

  5. Safety Compliance:

    • Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and regulations.

    • Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions to promote a culture of safety awareness.

    • Investigate and report any accidents or incidents promptly.

  6. Communication:

    • Maintain open communication with other departments, including procurement, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth workflow.

    • Report production status, issues, and accomplishments to upper management regularly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field (preferred).

  • Proven experience in PCB manufacturing, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory role.

  • Strong knowledge of PCB assembly processes, equipment, and materials.

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.

  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Electrical Engineer (Contract)

Job Summary:
ZenG Solutions, a leading PCB manufacturing company in Canada, is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our innovative team. The Electrical Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the electrical safety and integrity of our printed circuit board (PCB) products, in compliance with Canadian electrical safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, a deep understanding of safety regulations, and experience in PCB design and manufacturing.
 

Responsibilities:

  1. Electrical Design and Analysis:

    • Design and analyze electrical circuits and systems for PCB applications.

    • Ensure compliance with Canadian electrical safety standards, codes, and regulations.

    • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and optimize PCB layouts for functionality and safety.

  2. Safety Compliance:

    • Stay current with Canadian electrical safety standards and codes, ensuring that all products meet or exceed these standards.

    • Conduct regular reviews of designs and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

    • Collaborate with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary certifications for products.

  3. Testing and Validation:

    • Develop and implement testing protocols to verify the electrical safety and performance of PCBs.

    • Conduct thorough electrical testing and validation of prototypes and production units.

    • Analyze test data to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous compliance.

  4. Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and design, to integrate electrical safety measures into the entire product lifecycle.

    • Provide technical support and guidance to other departments on electrical safety matters.

    • Communicate effectively with external certification bodies to facilitate the certification process.

  5. Product Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for product improvement related to electrical safety and reliability.

    • Collaborate with the engineering team to implement design changes that enhance safety without compromising functionality.

  6. Documentation:

    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of electrical designs, safety measures, and testing procedures.

    • Create and update documentation to ensure compliance with standards and facilitate audits.
       

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in Canada is preferred.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on PCB design and manufacturing.

  • In-depth knowledge of Canadian electrical safety standards, codes, and regulations.

  • Experience with electrical simulation and design tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Quality Control Inspector (Part-time)

Job Summary:
ZenG Solutions, a prominent PCB manufacturing company in Canada, is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in our printed circuit board (PCB) products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Canadian safety standards, possess excellent attention to detail, and be dedicated to maintaining the integrity of our manufacturing processes.
 

Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Inspection:

    • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished PCB products to ensure compliance with Canadian safety standards and quality specifications.

    • Use precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to verify product dimensions, functionality, and electrical performance.

  2. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Record and document inspection results accurately and in a timely manner.

    • Generate detailed reports on quality findings, highlighting any deviations from standards or specifications.

    • Communicate quality issues to relevant departments and collaborate on corrective actions.

  3. Safety Compliance:

    • Enforce adherence to Canadian safety standards and regulations during the inspection process.

    • Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to address safety concerns and ensure continuous compliance.

  4. Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance product quality and safety.

    • Provide feedback to the production and engineering teams regarding areas for improvement in manufacturing processes.

  5. Training and Development:

    • Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for production and quality control personnel regarding Canadian safety standards and quality requirements.

    • Provide guidance and support to employees to ensure understanding and compliance with quality and safety protocols.

  6. Collaboration:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to address quality and safety concerns.

    • Participate in regular meetings to discuss quality trends, improvements, and updates related to safety standards.
       

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in quality control or a related field is a plus.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector in a manufacturing environment, preferably in PCB manufacturing.

  • Familiarity with Canadian safety standards and regulations related to PCB manufacturing.

  • Proficient in the use of measurement tools and testing equipment.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
